NEXIPOX® is a live-attenuated Chickenpox vaccine, which means it contains a version of the living virus that has been weakened so that it does not cause serious disease in people with healthy immune systems.
NEXIPOX® (Varicella Virus Vaccine Live) is a vaccine used for active immunization for the preventionof Chickenpox .
The Strain Used in NEXIPOX® is
VR 795 Oka strain of the attenuated varicella-zoster virus, from American Type Cell Culture (ATCC).
Chickenpox is a preventable viral infection, cause by a virus known as Varicella. Chickenpox can be prevented by Chickenpox vaccination which is available widely.
